License the whole accounting system for one fixed monthly price, it never grows with your clients, users or transactions.

About us

Tailoring your accounting system stopped being a luxury.

Accounting.dev is built by the team behind Kirjuri, the accounting knowledge service Finnish accountants have used since 1999. We know this work from the inside, and building software is what we do.

Why now

The arithmetic changed, not the wishful thinking.

1

Building software got radically cheaper

AI-assisted development changed the arithmetic. What used to take a platform team a year now takes a small team weeks, and the cost of every change fell with it. That is why a whole platform can be licensed for one flat monthly price at all.

2

So tailoring is worth it again

When building was expensive, buying the same off-the-shelf system as everyone else was the rational choice, and you shaped your process around the software. Now an app that fits how you actually work costs less than living with the compromise.

3

And the bookkeeping itself is automatable

The same models that write the software also read documents, propose postings, reconcile accounts and explain what they did. The line-by-line work is no longer a headcount question, so a fixed price can replace a bill that grew with every transaction.

The company

Since 1999, with a new engine.

Kirjurituote Oy was founded in 1999 to publish accounting knowledge in digital form, and its Liikekirjuri and Kiinteistökirjuri charts of accounts became basic tools of the trade. We took the company over at the beginning of September 2025 and have been building the next generation of it since: Kirjuri for the knowledge, Accounting.dev for the engine that does the work. The same team behind both, and the same knowledge keeping both current.

Work out what your current system will cost you five years from now.

Tell us what you're running today, and we'll show you what the same work looks like on Accounting.dev, and what it costs. Fixed.
